1950's floral teapot by Alcock Lindley Bloore Brown.
Really lovely design with hand painted big, colourful flowers on black. Gold detail on the top edge and top of spout.
The gold edging is slightly worn and I think the lid has been replaced as the shape is different to the original and it is a bit of a loose fit. There is a tiny chip on the rim, and 2 little chips on the lid.
It is clean inside and has no cracks, so could still be used as a teapot. But I think this would look amazing used without the lid, as a vase for flowers or pot for a house plant!
